Why Embed Facebook Groups on Your Website?

Facebook has now over 1.4 billion people in Facebook groups. That’s why it’s important that you build an online community where you and your customers can interact.

Using Facebook groups isn’t limited to one-way communication. Instead, you can use Facebook groups as a way to “talk” to your customers via an open and ongoing dialogue where there’s an exchange of valuable information.

Also, 70% of B2C marketers get their customers through Facebook. So, why not give them an opportunity by inviting them to join your online Facebook community? Embedding your Facebook group on your website helps you do this.

If you display your Facebook group on your company’s website, you get to:

  • Help your users easily discover your online community
  • Directly interact with your users via your Facebook group
  • Strengthen your bond with your customers
  • Provide solutions to their product- or service-related problems posted on the group
  • Use the power of social proof by showing user-generated content
  • And, boost brand awareness by keeping your customers informed via relevant announcements on the group

Embedding a Facebook group on your website makes it easier for your visitors to join your online community, whether you’re a blogger or an owner of an e-commerce shop.

It’s also simpler for your customers to engage with your business. This is better, since they don’t need to jump through hoops just to engage with you.

Also, showing your group on your website helps you build a trustworthy relationship with your prospects. And this is a great thing for you. After all, building trust with your prospects helps you to convert them into customers in the long run.

I tried this plugin and it doesn’t work properly for facebook groups. It only displays the last six posts, even if you adjust the setting to display more it will not show you more. It doesn’t update the posts every hour or at anytime. It never updates the posts at all. I’m using the latest version WP and all plugins updated to latest version.
