If you just created a new feed on your site and don’t see all your reviews, you’ll need to consider the following API limitations depending on the platform you are using.
The Google API only shares up to 10 reviews initially. Recent reviews are updated in the API every so often. The plugin will periodically check for new reviews available in the API, and these are locally cached on your site; this way, you can show additional reviews as we save more locally as time goes on.
Additional Limitations:
Images and Videos are not available in the API, and this can’t be displayed on your feed.
Yelp
The Yelp API only shares the most 3 recent reviews. The plugin will periodically check for new reviews, and these are locally cached on your site; this way, you can show additional reviews.
Additional Limitations:
Text on long reviews is shortened in the API and therefore also the feed.
Trip Advisor
The Trip Advisor API only shares 3 reviews initially. These are locally cached on your site and the plugin will periodically check for additional reviews so these can be added to the feed over time.
The Facebook API allows you to display all the reviews on your page
Additional Limitations:
Images are not available in the API, and this can’t be displayed on your feed.
WordPress.org
The API only shares up to 10 reviews initially. These are locally cached on your site and the plugin will periodically check for additional reviews so these can be added to the feed over time.
