At times your connection with TikTok and the Smash Balloon app may need reconnection. To avoid this as much as possible please consider the following items that can cause your account to need reconnection:
- Changing Passwords
If you change your password for TikTok, your access token needed to keep your connection with our plugin may be interrupted. Make sure to test your connection or reconnect your account if changing your password is required. - Changing Security Related Settings
If you change any security related settings for your TikTok account, you may invalidate the connection with the Smash Balloon app as well. Review your security settings, make changes, and then check your connection to see if something needs to be reconnected. - Invalidating Smash Balloon’s Access
In order for TikTok to send the plugin your latest videos, you need to grant Smash Balloon access to do this. If you invalidate this access on TikTok through the app, you will also be unable to get fresh videos.
