Adding a Reviews Feed to a Page Using the Elementor Widget

Would you like to display your customer reviews on a page built with Elementor, without copying a shortcode? Reviews Feed now includes its own Elementor widget. You can pick one of your feeds and drop it onto any page visually. There is no shortcode to copy and nothing to paste.

This guide will walk you through the steps to add a reviews feed to a page using the Reviews Feed Elementor widget.

Before you get started, make sure of the following:

Here is what we will cover:

Adding the Reviews Feed Widget

To get started, we’ll place the Reviews Feed widget on the page that will display your reviews.

First, from your WordPress admin sidebar, go to Pages » All Pages and open the page where you want your reviews to appear, or create a new one. Then click Edit with Elementor at the top of the editor to launch Elementor.

The Edit with Elementor button at the top of the WordPress editor

In the Elementor panel on the left, type Reviews Feed into the widget search box. The Reviews Feed widget will appear in the results.

Next, drag the Reviews Feed widget from the panel onto the area of the page where you want your reviews to show. The widget will appear on your page. Its settings will open in the left panel.

With the widget in place, you’re ready to choose which feed it displays.

Selecting Your Feed

The widget can display any feed you’ve already created in Reviews Feed.

In the widget settings under Reviews Feed Settings, open the Select a Feed dropdown and choose the feed you want to display.

As soon as you choose a feed, Elementor loads a live preview of your reviews right on the page. This lets you confirm you picked the right one before publishing.

If you need to make changes to the feed itself, use the Edit this Feed link that appears under the dropdown. It takes you straight to the feed editor.

With the right feed selected, the page is ready to publish.

Publishing and Viewing Your Feed

When your feed looks the way you want, click Publish in the top-right corner of the Elementor editor.

The Publish button in the top bar of the Elementor editor

Your reviews feed is now live on the page, exactly as your visitors will see it.

That’s it! You have added a reviews feed to your Elementor page, no shortcode required. Next, you may want to display your feed on pages built with the WordPress block editor too. For that, see our guide on Adding a Reviews Feed to a Page Using the Block Editor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about using the Reviews Feed Elementor widget.

I don’t see the Reviews Feed widget in Elementor. How can I fix this?

The Reviews Feed widget is included in Reviews Feed version 2.6.3 and above. Reviews Feed must be updated to at least that version. The Elementor plugin must also be active on your site.

Do I still need a shortcode to display my feed?

No. The widget lets you select and display your feed visually. The [reviews-feed] shortcode still works as before. Any feeds you embedded with it will keep working. You no longer need the shortcode for new pages.

Can I show more than one feed on the same page?

Yes. You can add the Reviews Feed widget more than once on a page and choose a different feed in each one.

For more details, check out our doc on displaying multiple reviews feeds.

How do I change which feed the widget displays?

In Elementor, select the widget on the page. Then pick a different feed from the Select a Feed dropdown under Reviews Feed Settings. The preview updates right away.
