An Access Token is required by Facebook in order to access their public data API. We’ve made it easy to get one by following the steps below:
Version 4.0 and up
Go to WordPress Dashboard > Facebook Feed > Settings and click Add Source in the Manage Sources section:
or while creating a new feed, when you get to the Select a Source step, click Add New:
Then follow the prompts to create the connection to your Page or Group. For more details, see steps 15 – 19 of our setup guide.
Below Version 4.0
Go to WordPress Dashboard > Facebook Feed and click the big blue Facebook login button labeled “Connect a Facebook account” which was added to the plugin in v3.4 of the Pro plugin, and v2.7 of the Free plugin. This will give you an Access Token that you can use in the plugin to display posts from your Facebook page.
