To ensure that some features work properly and that the page loads quickly, Instagram Feed will only randomize posts after the feed’s cache clears. If you would like the random posts to change more frequently, set a lower Caching time at WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Feeds.

If you would like the random posts to change more frequently, change the “Check for new posts every” setting found on the “Configure” tab inside the plugin’s settings page.
