There is a known issue with the Salient WordPress theme where it causes links within plugins to be opened as a new page in the theme, which triggers a blank white content area to be opened. To fix this, the best solution is to disable the page transitions effect within the Salient theme options, as shown in the following screenshot. Switch the Animated Transition Method to “Standard” in the following location: Salient Theme Options -> Page Transition, and then uncheck “Disable Fade Out On Click”.
