Plugin Version 4.0 and above
Shortcode options that were applied and working before the 4.0 update will keep working in the same way. For new customizations, please use the individual feed customization options.
The plugin uses the main shortcode option feed to identify which feed it is you want to display and apply your chosen customizations. If this is not working or your plugin is showing the incorrect feed or an error message, some of the most common reasons for this are:
1) You have the incorrect feed option set in the shortcode
In the individual feed configuration screen, select Embed </> to ensure you are using the correct shortcode and feed id. If the shortcode has the incorrect id or is missing an id, the feed will not display as expected.
2) There are HTML tags within the shortcode that are preventing it from working correctly
If you copied and pasted the shortcode into the Visual editor on your WordPress page/post editor then it may have inadvertently included some HTML tags from the page that you copied it from. The easiest way to check this is to view the ‘Text’ view in your WordPress editor and see whether there are any stray HTML tags in the shortcode itself.
3) The shortcode includes “curly” quote characters
If your shortcode includes quotes then check that they are the standard quotes: ‘ or “ and not the curly kind: ’ or ”.
4) Typo in the shortcode option
Ensure that there aren’t any spelling errors in the shortcode options that you’re using and that you are using the correct Feed ID.
